Marina di Pescoluse: the Maldives of Salento
Marina di Pescoluse, also known as “le Pescoluse”, is a pearl of Salento, and one of the most popular tourist resorts in the whole of Puglia: beaches of fine white sand, crystal clear sea water, beaches surrounded by greenery, free beaches, well-equipped bathing establishments and well-organized, equipped with entertainment and catering. The nickname “Maldives of Salento” is linked to the colour of the sand: the sand is very white and this is due to the calcareous rock from which the sand originates. Marina di Pescoluse welcomes tens of thousands of Italian and foreign tourists, especially in summer and in particular in August.

Stays in Masseria to live the experience of the Salento land
Holidays in Salento means living the typical places, living in contact with nature, knowing customs and traditions. If you want this type of holiday, you must stay in Masserie of Salento. In the hinterland of Salve, there are several accommodation facilities that offer this type of service.
Masserie in Salento: farmhouses in the past, accommodation and catering facilities today
The farms are typical rural houses of Puglia, especially Salento, which in the past were used as a storage of agricultural tools, while today have become places, of great charm, used as accommodation and catering. The name “Masseria” derives from the Salento dialect “massaru” which means farmer/colon, placed at the head of all the labourers who were employed in the working of the land of the local nobleman.
